Canon 4(C)(2) of the Oklahoma Code of Judicial Conduct provides "A Judge should not accept appointment to a governmental committee or commission or other governmental position concerned with issues of fact or policy or matters other than the improvement of the law, the legal system or the administration of justice unless with the specific approval of the Supreme Court..." Clearly this board is not engaged in the activities permitted without the consent of the Supreme Court.
